Your Safety Matters
The health and safety of our members is our first priority. We have carefully planned our approach following the government's guidance, as well as taken extra steps to ensure we provide a welcoming environment for you to enjoy staying safe, healthy, and active.
We look forward to welcoming you back. It will be a joint effort in making sure everyone is kept safe.
Cleaning & Sanitation
Daily Deep Cleans
Our facility will be thoroughly cleaned daily. We are fully equipped and stocked with hospital-grade products that meet the requirements of this enhanced cleaning program.
Additional Post Workout Cleans
During staffed operating hours there will be more frequent cleaning of high touch points to ensure that equipment and club cleanliness is maintained.
Social Distancing & Capacity
Where possible and where required, we have arranged equipment in a way that makes it easier to ensure social distancing is kept throughout the facility either through spacing of equipment or removing use of some items.
At Icon Fitness we have always had capacity limits on the number of members our facility has, because we believe that our members should have unrestricted access to equipment without crowds. As an added safety precaution our facility will be capping the number of members at 25 at one time. (This number is based on 5 members per 1,000 square feet at any time, which would represent about 50% of our facilities 5,000 square foot capacity).
Sanitize Your Hands
We have provided hand sanitizing dispensers in our facility. Please ensure that you sanitize your hands during your workout as well as upon entry and exit.
Please maintain a 2 meter social distance from others in the facility.
Keep It Clean
We have provided even more disinfectant spray bottles around the facility. Please use the spray and wipes to clean down equipment before and after use.
Masks must be worn when you:
(a) Enter the facility
(b) Exit the facility
(c) Walk from one piece of equipment to the next
(d) Go to the washroom
(e) Talk to any other individual(s) in the facility
As per our local health authorities, you may remove your mask if whilse exercising, the mask prevents you from breathing normally.
