We opened Icon Fitness in hopes of offering a local environment to reach important goals: weight loss, muscular development, and overall health management. Finding the strength to make it to the gym is half the battle. This is why we chose to open Icon Fitness in our hometown. A shorter commute means you’ll have more time to finish your workout and then get back to living your life. Our favourite thing about being a member at a health club is meeting people in our neighbourhood. Having a good source of accountability is crucial to keeping up a workout routine. Plus, it never hurts to meet new people and make new friends. So, whether you are into cardio, heavy lifting, or strength training you are guaranteed a promising fitness future at Icon Fitness.
It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.
MEET OUR TEAM
I approach each workout with a sense of optimism and hopefulness, as well as an opportunity to be selfish. From stretching, to running, to lifting weights, each movement provides what is best for me and my health. Being a member of a health club and exercising regularly is an integral component for stress management for me. Looking good is awesome, but feeling awesome is even better.
I have always had a passion for health and fitness. Exercise has made a big difference in my overall health and well-being. For me, the gym is an outlet where I challenge myself and
discover what my body is capable of.
I am constantly experimenting with exercises in order to maintain a current and sophisticated approach to my clients' training sessions, and to ensure each session is interesting and effective. My own personal experience competing in bodybuilding competitions, has allowed me to push my own limits and see goals become reality. I love trying new exercises to see what muscles they work and experimenting with old exercises to fully understand each muscle involved in a simple exercise. I love working with new clients and having each one of them challenge me on how I can help them get closer to their goals.
I am passionate about helping people feel strong and healthy, along with sharing the benefits that regular exercise and movement have to your physical and emotional well being. I want to inspire people to commit to themselves, their goals, and schedule that time in the gym. I am an avid runner, mother of three, fuelled by water, lattés, and laughter.
Exercise is hard work. As it becomes part of a lifestyle, the gym makes me feel good while helping my mind, body and soul. I feel so much better about myself physically and mentally. Exercise gives me a sense of happiness and overall well-being, and the confidence afterwards is so rewarding. For me the gym is my getaway, it's my place to forget everything that’s going on in my life and focus on myself. Nothing compares to the feeling you have after a killer workout. I would not give up that feeling for anything else.
Health and Fitness are integral parts of who I am. I love working towards reaching a new level every day and helping others do the same. The gym is my second home and a place where I feel I belong. Working out has been an outlet in my life that I had not previously realized I needed and I am grateful that I found it. Through it, I have met great people and opened up new opportunities and challenges for myself.
